DreamCloud Mattress Review Dreamcloud Mattress Dubai
I am super excited about the current review because I’ll be having a look at a few of the latest beds on the market: the DreamCloud hybrid mattress. This bad boy unites high-density foam with encased coils for a sleeping experience that promises to be as luxurious as it is supportive.
To see how well this hybrid lives up to that goal, I’ve put it through a series of tests to measure its overall comfort and determine what kind of sleeper could benefit from it .

The DreamCloud features an astoundingly tall profile for a mattress in a whopping 15 inches. The eight-layer structure is broken down into foam and wrapped coil components, which work in tandem to provide the sleeper with a firm innerspring lift and lots of comfy pressure relief.
Given all the different substances at play here, I’m stoked to dive into these layers to see how well they interact with one another.
Cover: The cover is made up of a cashmere and polyester blend for a luxuriously soft feel up top. Additionally, it is quilted with memory foam, which supplies the sleeper with immediate pressure relief.
Foam Layers: beneath the cover, you’ll find three thin layers of foam. When these sections are soft to the touch and provide some satisfying sinkage, they also respond quickly to stress, so you won’t feel stuck in the mattress. The middle of the three layers is especially important for the temperature regulation of the DreamCloud as it’s comprised of perforated latex foam. Latex generally is great at dissipating heat, so the inclusion of these small ventilations encourages even more cooling.
Pocketed Coils: The bottom layer of foam transitions into the firmer support section of the mattress, which is composed of a pocketed coil system. These individually wrapped springs provide the bed excellent bounce and help to disperse motion throughout the construction. The coils also assist in regulating temperatures as the spaces between them allow for continuous air flow.
Foundation Layer: A thin layer of high-density polyfoam lies at the base of the mattress, with the most important use of cradling the pocketed coils and giving a sound foundation for the entire.
After taking a look at the building of this DreamCloud, let’s chat about the firmness and texture. My hands sunk into the material and I could feel some instant pressure relief. Pushing in further, I started to interact with the pocketed coils experienced a nice lift from springs.
At this point I’d like to note that people of different body shapes and types will feel firmness otherwise. As opposed to giving just my opinion on the overall firmness level of the DreamCloud, I enlisted three other people to give their opinion also. This gives you a better sense of the firmness range you can expect from the mattress.
As you can see in the chart above, the testers were pretty much in agreement about the firmness of this DreamCloud, giving it an average rating of 7.75. Compare this to the business standard of 6.5 for medium firmness and it is apparent the this mattress is really firm.
I personally gave the bed a 7.5 and concur with the rest of the testers that it is definitely a solid bed. As you’ll feel some small sinking out of the plush foam top layers, the individually wrapped coils at the core will lift you out of this bed and make you feel as if you’re sleeping on top of the mattress. Rather than just describing the feel of this DreamCloud to you, I wanted to provide a visual representation of where someone may feel pressure points shape while lying on it. To do this, I put a pressure map in addition to the mattress and lied on my backside, and tummy.
Back: Once in my back, my weight was evenly distributed throughout the mattress, so I didn’t feel like I was sinking into the mattress at all. The quilted cover provided quality relief in my lumbar region and the pocketed coils helped to lift me from the bed and keep my spine in alignment.
Side: As you can see in the chart above, once I rolled onto my side, I began to feel pressure forming at my shoulders and hips. However, I still felt supported and the top foam layers alleviated what discomfort I felt in this position.
Stomach: Switching over to my stomach, I thought that the DreamCloud did a great job of lifting my hips up and out of the bed, which is key for stomach sleepers. I should mention that I managed to transition across these places with relative ease. Dreamcloud Mattress Dubai
If you plan on sharing your bed with a partner, you’ll want to know what it will feel like when another person crawls out of bed in the morning or tosses around at night. This next test is intended to demonstrate the intensity of motion that’s detectable from one side of the mattress into the other.
To illustrate this motion transfer, I dropped a 10 lb. Steel ball from heights of 4 inches, 8 inches and 12 inches and quantified the disturbance it caused: the bigger the lines, the larger the disturbance.
The DreamCloud shows a small amount of disturbance for the 4 inch drop, which simulates someone rolling around and adjusting their position on the other side of the bed. While the 8 and 12 inch drops reveal slightly bigger spikes, I’d still look at the mattress to be quite good at isolating movement, as a result of the individually wrapped coils. This means you’re not likely to be too disturbed by your bed mate’s midnight shimmies, which makes this a great alternative for couples.
If purchasing a new bed, most people want to know whether they’ll feel like they’re sinking”into” the mattress or placing”on top” of it. To visualize this sinkage, I placed four balls of varying sizes and densities (a 6 lb medicine ball, a 10 pound steel ball, a 50 lb medicine ball, and a 100 lb medicine ball) on the mattress and measured how much they compressed the surface.
The variations in size, density and weight are meant to simulate different body parts and different sized sleepers.
- 10 lb steel ball: 2 inches of sinkage.
- 50 pound medicine ball: 4.5 inches of sinkage.
- 100 pound medicine ball: 5.5 inches of sinkage.
While you’re going to experience some immediate sinkage from the soft foam on top, by the time you sink through these layers, you’ll hit on the wrapped coils and texture fantastic support. This combo will interest a broad range of sleepers, but will satisfy back and stomach sleepers in particular. Dreamcloud Mattress Dubai
If you’re going to share your bed with a partner and wish to use the whole surface area of the mattress, it’s going to be crucial that you think about the quantity of edge support it will provide.
I am particularly interested to see if the DreamCloud will suffer the same fate as other compressed bed-in-a-box mattresses that fail to meet the edge support of more traditional innerspring models.
Lying on my back, I felt as supported at the edge of the bed as I did in the middle . Pressing closer to the side, I experienced a little compression because of the highest foam layers, but nothing too dramatic.
Changing to my side, I once again noticed compression in the foam layers, but it did not carry over into the wrapped coil system below. This system, together with the polyfoam border support round the mattress, did a great job of supporting my weight.
In this position, I wanted to simulate what it would feel like to be sitting on the bed in the morning when you are lacing up your shoes and getting ready for the day. A good deal of foam mattresses undergo severe compression in this position, but the DreamCloud actually held up fairly well.
Warranty: DreamCloud’s Everlong warranty is a lifetime warranty.
Bonus: One free cleaning with purchase.
